Questions Clients Ask Before Starting

A grounded look at the concerns that come up in the first conversation about a kitchen or wardrobe project.

Every renovation starts with a list of questions, and most of them are about the same few things: how long the work takes, what happens to the existing space, and whether the final result will match the drawings. Before we cut a single sheet of plywood, we sit down with clients and walk through these points in plain language.

The most common question is about timelines. A full kitchen with CNC-cut cabinets, edge banding, and on-site installation usually runs between three and five weeks from the approved layout. That includes material procurement, machining, and a day or two for fitting. Wardrobes and smaller storage units move faster, often within two weeks.

Another frequent topic is material choice. Clients want to know why we recommend plywood over MDF for cabinet boxes, or where solid wood makes sense for doors and panels. The answer depends on moisture exposure, weight load, and the finish they have in mind. We show samples during the consultation so the decision is based on touch and color, not just a spec sheet.

Hardware also comes up more than people expect. Soft-close hinges, pull-out organizers, and full-extension drawers change how a cabinet feels in daily use. We walk through the options and explain what each one adds in terms of comfort and durability, so the quote reflects real needs rather than a default package.

Finally, clients ask about the installation process itself. We cover how much dust and disruption to expect, whether existing cabinets need to be removed, and who handles the final adjustments. Knowing these details ahead of time makes the project feel manageable and keeps the focus on the result.
